Pace Community Law Practice Welcomes New Legal Fellows Learning the Law in Context

Five recent law school graduates will continue the work of the Pace Community Law Practice (PCLP) as the new team of Legal Fellows comprising the practice's legal staff. As the second group selected for these highly-competitive, one-year "legal residencies," they provide high-quality, affordable legal services under the supervision of an experienced attorney while also learning the skills that will allow them to open their solo practices.

Professor Michael Mushlin and the Honorable Lisa Margaret Smith have been teaching a first-year law school class that appears to be the only one of its kind. In addition to being co-taught by a professor and a judge, the class approaches material more commonly reserved for second and third year law students.

WCBF recognizes Professor Carlisle Pace Law team offers arbitration analysis for ESPN New York

The Westchester County Bar Foundation honored Professor Jay Carlisle and Westchester attorney Raymond Planell at its annual fundraiser. The goal of the Foundation, the philanthropic branch of the Westchester County Bar Association, is to improve the public's understanding of the law and improve "the administration of justice."

Congratulations Professor Fasulo Save the Date – February 20-February 22, 2014
The 2014 National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition

Pace Law School's 1L Moot Court Competition will now be known as The Louis V. Fasulo First Year Moot Court Competition.

Seventy-eight law schools from across the country are registered to participate in this preeminent moot court centered on current environmental issues. Attorneys who are admitted to the bar are invited to judge the preliminary rounds of oral arguments on February 20 and 21. Two NYS CLE practice credits may be earned per round of judging.
